Carter Vs. Karate Kid (not daniel-sun)

I've mentioned this to a few of the brothers. But the question is, which would u rather be stuck with?
This?

Or this?

Now i've stated that the kid reminds me of what a past mini-moneymaker would be like. Comments/Concerns?

Hoop Dreams

Many of you may already know this, but Steph Curry's little brother, Seth, is going to be a Blue Devil. He led all freshmen with just over 20 a game. Yes, maybe this is the pure scorer that Duke needs. Of course, he will sit out for the upcoming season, but if Singler and Nolan Smith stick around for their Senior seasons ('10-'11), Duke may have what it needs to make a deep run in the tournament. Recruiting has to improve for Coach K and the program, but that's another story that Digger and Bilas can handle.

The tournament has come to a screeching halt in my opinion. With the exception of the 'Nova/Pitt game, there really hasn't been anything to exciting since the 2nd round. A ton of blow outs later and the only thing to hope for is a gigantic UNC/UConn final. These two teams have breezed through their respective regions, and they've been arguably the two most talented teams all season long.

If Calipari leaves for Kentucky, I think he's going to find himself in a position similar to his Memphis job. Conference USA basketball is terrible; SEC basketball is on a steady decline. If he takes the UK job, Calipari will quickly retool Kentucky with some of the best freshmen hoopstars in the country. But, he will still be criticized for running through a weak conference. Maybe at UK, he'll finally win "the big one". He's a great recruiter, but I would like to see him become a great coach.

Early Final Four lines, brought to you by Caesar's Palace:

4/4 6:05 pm
Michigan State
UConn (-4)

4/4 8:45 pm
Villanova
UNC (-7.5)

MSU has had to play way to good for 4 straight games, so I'll give the 4 and take UConn, big.

For me, it's too early to commit to the late game.

P.S. Calipari just took the UK job.

Praying for Coach Deal

I hope everybody will keep Coach Harry Deal in their prayers. He is ICU at St. Joseph. Coach is a B.C. legend, and one of my grandfather's best friend. I hope you pull through Harry Deal.

Tiger is back!

Yesterday, Tiger won his first event this year and his first since title since he has been back from knee surgery. His last event that he won was the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. His win now adds to the excitement heading into the season's first major, The Masters. With Woods claiming victory for a sixth time at the Arnold Palmer Invitational(formerly the Bay Hill Classic), and Phil and Geoff Olgivy having both won twice this year; the intensity levels should be extremely high. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be the two odds-on- favorites to win, but there will be some other guys to look after.

Tiger's Statistics at the Masters: 4 wins in 12 appearances as a pro (1997,2001,2002,2005). 9 top 10's and has placed 2nd twice(2007,2009)

Phil Mickelson's Statistics at the Masters: 2 wins in 15 appearances as a pro (2004,2006) 11 top 10's and 6 top 3's finishes.

Both men were low ametuers in the tournament: Tiger(1995) and Phil(1991).

According to Vegasinsider.com the odds for them to win the Masters: Tiger 2/1, Phil 10/1, the field 5/2.

Tiger, Phil, and Vijay, and Mike Weir are the only men ranked in the top 20 in the World Golf rankings to win the Masters. Tiger(1), Phil(2), Vijay(6), Mike Weir(19).

Players to contend in my opinion.:

1) Rory McIlroy

2) Retief Goosen

3) Henrik Stenson

4) Geoff Olgivy

5) Ernie Els

Top Ranked Players( in the Top 20 World Golf Rankings) to miss the cut in my opinion:

1) Vijay Singh

2) Anthony Kim

3) Kenny Perry

4) Adam Scott

5) Steve Stricker

Question: Will Greg Norman make the cut yes/no? No.

Who will win: I am taking Mickelson because he is starting to drive the ball straighter, his iron game is good, and his short game is immaculate.

"The Promise"

Now, as a Gators fan, I thought the speech was awesome and I really have to give my thanks to Ole' Miss. That sparked the fire that would send the Gators to the National Championship. However, displaying this in this fasion is gay. One, they shouldn't of put it up while Tebow is still there. Two, it's named The Promise. Three, I think it's more of a contemporary speech. I wonder if 10 years down the road we here this speech and know where it originated.

Some Thoughts and Facts

Well, I sure hope Cadet Lawrence had a good birthday and congrats go out to Joey as well for getting into school. Only 51 more weeks til next St. Patrick's Day, this past one was awesome. Las Vegas was badass and I really want to go back again. Lots of silicone in that city which was great. Oh I did my first webchat in Vegas. Donnie had it set up on his computer and we talked to Schiv. He had to study tort law.

Some things I learned in Vegas:

1).I eat more that anyone I know, and I am going to be obese one day.

2).Shane really likes Pai Gow Poker, and I still do not understand it but hopefully I will.

3).P-Mac will get up really early to place some bets at the sports book.

4).Donnie really loves Nathan's Famous Hotdogs. This fine dining place was at MGM Grand, and Donnie really enjoyed his meal. The rest us only had McDonalds. Ask him about it

5). I only play blackjack well when Donnie and I are at the same table.
6).Unlike the rest of the country, Las Vegas is not hurting economically.
Other stuff:
Charlie Weis decided to call plays from the sidelines. I like Notre Dame, but I a hope they fire the man at the end of the season.
Tiger defends at Bay Hill this week a place, which is Arnold Palmer's Tournament. He has won 5 times: 2000,2001,2002,2003,2008.
I will be doing a Master's Bracket, $5 buy in. winner take all.

Happy Birthday Larry

Have a good birthday dude!

Heck Yes

My quest to "get mine" has taken a surprising and favorable turn. MCG gave me a call and said, 'yes' to which I responded 'ummm yes'. I never saw this jive coming which now makes me believe my days of saying stuff like "jive" are almost up. I'll do my best to grow up, but I'm not making any promises just yet.

My job has taught me quite a few things; People get hurt doing some retarded things, feet are nasty, professionalism often comes at a premium, and contrary to popular belief, proper grammar will never go out of style -- just to point out a few. I cannot put a value upon the many tools I will possess when I walk away from the SOC. Tell me this friends, an 80 yr old rips a less than discreet poot, can you mask your laughter seamlessly with a cough? No, you can't, but I can. I've got some way badass gems to tell, but I plan to start sharpening my professionalism trait right after this next paragraph.

Some will say, "Hey, at least the hard part is over. You got in!" And to that I say, "Hey, shut the fuck up." Not one bit of the next 3 years is going to be easy. I have sat through too many interviews, and told too many people how awesome I am for this shit to be a cakewalk. Bring on the hard shit because I'm ready to be one of the smart kids.

To all of the supporter, appreciate it -- well I guess half accomplished.

To the haters, got em.

Congrats J-O-Vicious

The long hard road of applying to Physical Therapy school has finally led Joey to Augusta a.k.a. Disgusta. It was a hard fought battle and Joey came out on top. (As usual-thats what she said.) Good luck Joey and you will be missed from the city of Savannah for a short while and without you The Doctors Hospital of Tattnall will be a little more quiet.

No More....

Andrew!! As Jack would say "don't do dat". Thanks Joey for executive powers. They haven't come in handy too much before right now.

No more posting videos of me.

Top 5

Happy Birthday Shane.

In other news, someone changed the radio station at work. So, instead of hearing quality rock straight from the bungalow, we're now listening to "all the hits!!" from 97.3. Here's the top 5 songs heard today...

5. 50 Cent - "In Da Club"

Yeah, go old people and you know we don't give a f*ck if yo knee broke!

4. TI feat. JT - "Dead and Gone"

Very inspirational.

3. Kanye West - "Heartless"

Fitting for all of the complainers and whiners throughout the day.

2. Rihanna - "Disturbia"

Feel certain you guys have heard this before, maybe not JJ. I got the old folks stirred up when I compared Rihanna/C Brown to Ike/Tina. Got em.

1. Lady GaGa - "Just Dance"

This was played 4 times today, but I'm not upset. Then, somebody's phone went off, and it was LG (GaGa not Gray).

Worst song of the day was...

That's just terrible.

Happy Birthday Murray

Top Five Things About Shane:
1) Likes to Party
2) Always up for a Good Time
3) Is good at Basketball
4) Brings a lot to the table
5) One hell of a nice guy and a great friend
Happy Birthday Murray!

Rick Will Appreciate Lane Kiffin's Newest Remarks

Coach Lane Kiffin, a man of many words, have some interesting comments to say to South Carolina recruit, Alshon Jeffrey. Apparently, CLK told Jeffrey that if he that if he chose the Gamecocks, he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina.

Flow of the Century

And I saw this commercial yesterday. Tell me, does anyone else think "Modesto" looks a lot like a wiener and balls?

Friday, March 6, 2009

You will not believe this.

Joey gave everybody a little history on a sweet girl from Athens named: Dora the Explorer. She is the reason why Jack is now called Tickle-Me-Holland. Well, I was just browsing on cnn.com, and I came across a news headline titled "Dora the Explorer Going Skank." I said to my self- Oh my God! This can not be happening to me. Dora from athens...how can I put this nicely...um lets just say she got around...ALOT! Oh by the way she can out drink anybody, just ask her. Jack and her became good friends last weekend.

Thanks Big Dawg

Donnie Bell: Best Friend, Wingman, brother, and advice giver of all time. Had a blast lastnight dude, thanks, looking foward to Saturday.

Laurie, Donnie, Bellbird, Dixie, and I guess Ozzie too always were always family to me.

Jacks thanks for coming last night too.

"It's your right as an US Citizen"

That's what the Assistant Juror Manager told us today, as we sit in that smelly assembly room. It started with about 150 sleepy face, but that number sadly dwindled. I've got a 300 lb'er to my left eating pop tarts and a dude who's coughing like he's got the black lung to my right. It's going to be a great morning. "We appreciate your commitment to justice and your Patience." What does that even mean?

Today, a crime was committed against 38 individuals. That crime was False Imprisonment. Go ahead, get all legal on me Schiv. I know this isn't actually FI, but that's not the point. The point is, I spent 4 hours of my day in a assembly room and an empty courtroom with no reasonable explanation. And then most Honorable of the Honorable Judge Bass comes in to say, "Thanks everybody, ha but we don't need you." I get to keep the 10 spot, right? Ten bucks? First and hopefully the last time I'll ever say, I would have rather been working.

Thanks for the quick fuck, Chatham. My butt hurts a bit, but it's my civic duty! Oh, however you can keep the $10 next go round.

Two Weeks

*Mike Lowe in the Moment

Monday, March 2, 2009

So...

I'm kidding JJ, I'll give you some time to think. We'd love to have you. I talked to Schiv about it, and he's OK with it. Thank goodness. If you didn't hear already or for those of who don't remember the weekend, some of us went to Athens.

I leave work on Friday and find to anxious little fellows parked next to my car. They were pissed! "We're freakin never going to get there, and Don is mad at you." I bet you can guess who said that. I get to the house and immediately crack open a beer 'cause I was stressing about which polos to bring. Later I would find that I made the right picks.

Statesboro was a speed bump on the way to Athens and a shitty one at that. We arrive at Don's, he's been drinkin. He's got a 32oz big gulp in his hand, and I know exactly what it's for. We passed that big gulp around like UGA Brahs pass around "Dora". Oh boy, we'll talk more about her later. Tom Tom took us to Wal Mart and about 8 beers later, I'm at the Days Inn just off of Broad.

Friday night was super weird. Me and PLowe got separated from JJ and the Dawg Duo. I broke my Lenten promise at Five Guys, but man o man it was good. Mingled with the natives, PLowe gets pushed in the head, I mentally check out around 2. I give Friday a B-.

Saturday starts off with a bang, at the door. It's Slic and he's just back from Tanyard. Don hasn't lived there in a while. Slic fires off some pretty badass quotes, and then reminds us that waking up in one's car with chicken fingers all over oneself is one hell of way to go. I says to myself, "it's gonna be a good day".

JJ enjoyed the Gym Dawgs, Slic beat up a liter of Makers, me and PMac will never go to Uncle Otto's again. We went to a party, and JJ brought his A+ game. Enter in, Dora the Explorer. Nobody really hit it off with this girl. Dora had probably explored a lot of dorm rooms and "experimented", if you know what I mean. She had a story for everything. After Saturday, she has one more to tell. JJ was just playing, but playing turned to tickling, tickling turned to silence. It was unbelievable. Tickle Me Holland was born.

We decided to leave that place. Went to BS, and met Slic and Rod. We drink drinks, we shoot shots. Schiv calls me 28x because he wants me to meet one of his friends. Just kidding Schiv, I got nervous, but I do appreciate your effort. Saturday, A.

Sunday, top 5 worst days ever. It's sleeting and my tummy hurts a little. About a hour and a half outside of Athens, I convince myself that I am dying, and I begin writing my will. Shane, you're getting my roommate.

See you at G Day.

Breaking News

Hate to break up the vid fest, but OITO has some breaking news. JJH4 has been offered a deal to join the OITO staff. We are very excited and we hope that JJ will give this offer some serious consideration.

Come fight the good fight, JJ. Best Wishes.

Rick's Recap

Saturday in Athens

Dairyland: Disgusting

We made a stop on the way back so Jack and Donnie could get some food. It was gross.
