Tiger is back!

Yesterday, Tiger won his first event this year and his first since title since he has been back from knee surgery. His last event that he won was the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. His win now adds to the excitement heading into the season's first major, The Masters. With Woods claiming victory for a sixth time at the Arnold Palmer Invitational(formerly the Bay Hill Classic), and Phil and Geoff Olgivy having both won twice this year; the intensity levels should be extremely high. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be the two odds-on- favorites to win, but there will be some other guys to look after.

Tiger's Statistics at the Masters: 4 wins in 12 appearances as a pro (1997,2001,2002,2005). 9 top 10's and has placed 2nd twice(2007,2009)

Phil Mickelson's Statistics at the Masters: 2 wins in 15 appearances as a pro (2004,2006) 11 top 10's and 6 top 3's finishes.

Both men were low ametuers in the tournament: Tiger(1995) and Phil(1991).

According to Vegasinsider.com the odds for them to win the Masters: Tiger 2/1, Phil 10/1, the field 5/2.

Tiger, Phil, and Vijay, and Mike Weir are the only men ranked in the top 20 in the World Golf rankings to win the Masters. Tiger(1), Phil(2), Vijay(6), Mike Weir(19).

Players to contend in my opinion.:

1) Rory McIlroy

2) Retief Goosen

3) Henrik Stenson

4) Geoff Olgivy

5) Ernie Els

Top Ranked Players( in the Top 20 World Golf Rankings) to miss the cut in my opinion:

1) Vijay Singh

2) Anthony Kim

3) Kenny Perry

4) Adam Scott

5) Steve Stricker

Question: Will Greg Norman make the cut yes/no? No.

Who will win: I am taking Mickelson because he is starting to drive the ball straighter, his iron game is good, and his short game is immaculate.
