I've been thinking...

• Hey Jeff Francoeur, you got to go. And that may not be a far cry. Of Course, the Braves will continue to dispel the "rumored" trade talks, that is until they get a quality player in return. I remember sitting in Andre's living room when Francoeur hit a walk off grand-slam against the Nationals. At the time, I thought, maybe I'm a little too hard on him -- cue the guzzling of the muthaf'*cking kool aid. He's easily the worst hitter in the game, right now. And don't give me stats because stats are for losers. He has never taken hitting seriously, and he never will. He is still that impatient-look for 1st pitch fastball-then try to pull it rookie. Here's the problem, he's not a rookie anymore and no one is throwing him fastballs.

• Anatomy has consumed me. My study aids are dead people. Wierd. Yesterday, I used a bone saw to cut through vertebrae, and I fished around a dead dude's spinal chord. It was badass, well everything but that icky smell.

• Augusta isn't that bad...

• I had some free time yesterday, so I watched this. I am usually pretty equal opportunity when it comes to sports, but damn there isn't much to soccer.

• Take this any way you'd like (________), but it is different w/ Schiv out of the mix... The line was for "that's what she said".

I gotta give yall a heads up on this pretty entertaining website. www.whatifsports.com The website lets you pick a showdown between pretty much any two teams in any sport from any year, and it will simulate a game statistically. If you don't like the outcome you can click "play game again" and they will re-run it. It may not work if you have a pop-up blocker on...so check that...but enjoy.....

Disclaimer: I realize that this doesn't necessarily mean what would happen if these teams played each other(after all the historical teams are mostly made up of dead guys or really old dudes)....but it is entertaining....kinda like WWE it is "sports entertainment"

...this video came to my attention after baby Murray waltzed his way to the OITO Dance Title...This video is actually from a Lancaster Barnstormer's baseball game. They are a minor league team...in case you were perplexed as to what MLB division they were in. Maybe we can get big little Murray to try to represent for those Gnat fans at a game this summer.

Today, Donnie and I went and looked at houses. We went to a realtors office who gave us a list of houses that were available, and none of them were is the city limits. We did find a badass three bedroom house for $950/month. Might be looking for another roommate... Jack.

Nathan's a.k.a"worlds worst food" has open another restaurant in Statesboro. I'll never go there.

There is a Robin Hood Drive and a Little John Circle in Statesboro, and you know someone was excited about that.

SCAD Concert?

This usually sneaks up on all of us, but I tried to seek out some information on the SCAD graduation concert in Forsyth. I'm not sure why this is such a mystery every year. I found this on Eventful.com/savannah. Since I've never heard of this site, I can't say if this is accurate. Hopefully it is true. I would certainly pay money for a Gov't Mule ticket, never mind see them for free. But hey, if you're buying...

So here's the potential lineup:

• Dirty Dozen Brass Band - They're cool, if you like lots of brass...twelve to be exact.

• Michael Franti & Spearhead - What's with all of the reggae stuff? Here's they're new single, it's interesting.

• ***Gov't Mule - Band has been around forever, with a revolving door for bass players since the death of Allen Woody. Warren Haynes is as good as it gets on the guitar, right now. Cover tunes and originals are all listenable.

• Allman Bros. Band - PLowe, just give them a chance. They're not that bad.

I'm not getting my hopes up. This seems like too much of a good thing. Plus, this thing would have to start around 2 pm for it to be over at a decent hour that night.

Alright, I have never been one to talk about what I got. I leave that to the Country Day kids, but this house that I am settling into is badass. I'm positive that there are some better descriptors out there, and for that I will defer to thy Anymouse. At this point, I cannot guarantee I'll be in as nice a home in 10-20 years. One can only hope.

Lil' Shane is at it again. Too bad this came after the Dance Off! Final.

Sad, sad news to report...

It is with great sadness and much regret, that I inform you of the loss of a staple in my wardrobe. It's true, my PING hat did not survive Beach Bum, the move, and it's ultimate demise, a cold/cold gentle cycle cleaning in the washing machine. That hat meant to me what Sting Ray's tees are to Shane, that BC cutoff tee is to Donnie, or boat shoes are to these guys.

While the loss is a devastating one, I must press on with daily life activities. Not because it was just a hat, smart asses, but because that's what PING hat would've wanted. Never clashing and always comfortable, it was my go to hat when I needed that "big hair" to get out.

I have yet to mention all of the really bad and sometimes mediocre golf I played while wearing said hat. So there, I mentioned it. I eagled a par 5 from 150 yds out, and I missed my only real hole-in-one chance by an inch with that thing on my head. There goes my golf game, I guess. No, I don't own PING clubs, but I do know PLowe. He sells PING clubs.

While this hat is not replaceable, I feel as though I must find another go to hat. The "other" hat will get a fair shot, but it's going to be a difficult adjustment.

A new leaf is being turned over, and I can't help but be excited and quite a bit nervous. There's no better way to spend three straight years. Yay. What am I saying? I'm not going to study.

It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, I will be missed. So many of the dull folks here look to me for a good time. If this were the Hills, I guess I would be Brody. If this was Jackass, I would be Steve-O. I'm your guy or I was.


Don't cry Dawson; it's all going to work itself out. We'll still talk, I promise. Hey, you guys come on up to the 30904. That's what the "it" crowd call Augusta. I am sooo "now". Hmmm, what ever happened to that contest? Which reminds me, way to go Shane for just beating MJ. Woo hoo.

A few things I'll miss: Ben's, Scandals, free parking, and Tybee.

Some that will not be missed: SCAD, that 3rd world country we call the Southside, the crack Kroger, and Wild Wing.

Hot town summer in the city. It's that time of year again. I will be making an official beginning of summer blog sometime in the upcoming week, but I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and get the word out there. This upcoming Friday the End of School Year/Beginning of Summer BungerQue will be held once again. Weiners and snacks will be provided. Unfortunately, CFan will not be on hand to defend his 2nd place Hot Dog Eating Contest place...Looking for a someone to give Murray a run for his money. BYOEntertainment (bocce, croquet, cds, etc.) , BYOB (unfortunately my dad doesn't have a ton of beer to get rid of like last BungerQue). There have been rumors circulating that a slip-n-slide may make an apperance (if anyone has one let me know).

Drunk driving is extremely discouraged and will result in being removed from next years guest list. My parents have offered to drive anyone home that is staying on the islands. If you don't live on the islands my parents will drop you off at the bull river bridge or thunderbolt bridge (I made that part up, but they would probably take your ass home). Also, people are welcome to stay and crash on the couch or spare room.

I would say feel free to bring a friend, but it could get ridiculous, so if you think it is someone that i would invite, if i had seen them, then go ahead and bring em. VIP party starts at 2pm, official party begins at 5 when responsible people get off of work. Looking forward to celebrating the beauty of Wilmington Island with yall.
